Fishylake is a family run fishing venue located in the heart of the French countryside. Our lake covers approximately 3 acres and has tree-lined banks and sheltered spots - the perfect size for up to four separate anglers.

The lake ranges from three to seven feet deep and is well stocked with carp, catfish, roach, tench and perch. The lake has a firm bed with silt patches and there are large groups of lilly pads in the quiet areas of the lake to where the fish retreat.

We have specifically geared the lake and surrounding banks to cater for disabled anglers as well as able-bodied guests, and have followed all of the recommendations laid down by the British Disabled Angling Association. In our first year of operations we are proud to have been awarded the Commercial Category 2 Gold Award for the BDAA Accessible Fisheries. We are the first disabled fishery in France to have been recognised by the BDAA and won such an award.

Fishylake is located in the countryside near to the village of Mosnay, which is about 4 miles from Junction 17 of the A20 in the Indre Department of France.

The nearest city is Chateauroux, which is a 20 minute drive north of Fishylake.

Limoges Airport is approximately a 45 minute drive from Fishylake and we are able to provide airport pick-ups and drop-offs if required. Limoges Airport has regular flights from various UK airports, including Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Gatwick, Stansted, Nottingham, Newcastle and Southampton. Many of the budget airlines operate from these airports and car hire is available at your destination.
